We did this with our first born (I had not seen a birth announcement magnet, only “Save The Date” ones) but everyone thanked us for sending them an announcement they could “use”! So many people (me included!) hate throwing away a picture/announcement, but you can’t keep em forever!! This was great for us! We’ll be doing it again in a few weeks!
