Happy Monday! If you haven’t picked up on it lately, we’ve been having some sharing problems between our one and two year old boys lately. However, it seems our two year old thinks he’s out smarted us. We have the Melissa & Doug Alphabet Train Floor Puzzle that he absolutely LOVES but it requires a bit of space to actually assemble. So, before he gets to the letter ‘L’ of the train puzzle, our one year old has usually disassembled the previous letters frustrating our two year old.
So, since he doesn’t want to share, our two year old has begun to put the alphabet puzzle together by the couch so that he can shove the pieces under the couch right before our youngest tries to tear it apart. When our one year old has had enough and exits the scene, our oldest pulls the puzzle back out and picks up where he left off. It’s actually pretty funny.
Anyway, if you haven’t seen this puzzle we love it! It is not only helping our two year old learn his ABCs, but each letter is associated with an animal so he is learning about animals as well. And, when you combine all of that with the fact that it is a train, you have a pure winner. Check it out. We think it’ll be the best $8.50 you’ve spent in a long time.
