One thing I struggle with is trying to enjoy the present without looking forward to the future.  I always find myself thinking, ‘I can’t wait until (insert baby’s name) can…’  It’s these thoughts that I fight off daily in an attempt to just enjoy the present for what it holds.  

When I look to the future I always feel as though I am robbing myself of the simple joys of today.  Then 6 months later I look back and think, ‘Wow, time has really flown by.’ and I wish I could have those precious moments back.  It’s a contentment issue, I know.

Yesterday, I thought I was going to die.  I was extremely sick.  Some of my symptoms included headache, fever, chills, and nausea.  Any guess on what I had?  Anyway, I feel much better this morning which I can attest to the 24 hours of sleep that I got and the fact that I woke up with this message in my email inbox.
