I’m always looking for constructive and creative ways to spend time with our two boys. I love doing artsy and crafty things with them and nothing gets me more excited than watching their faces light up as they learn different things. But, admittedly, it is hard to hold their attention for an extended period of time.
But suppose you could sit down with your child and calmly do a craft project together in a nurturing and learning environment.
Imagine that the child is attentive and enthusiastic about the project, they understand what they’re trying to make, and you both share fun and laughs over the craft. Imagine that they had such a great time with you that they tell everyone they talk to what they made and how much fun they had.
Am I dreaming? Maybe, but not if you have the right resources. The hardest part of crafts is trying to come up with age appropriate activities and finding the resources to pull them off.
Instead of knocking yourself out trying to come up with great craft ideas for little kids, you can have a bounty of ideas at your fingertips with one outstanding book called Little Kid Crafts for All Seasons. These are kid tested crafts that parents love too. If you like crafts, you’ve got to order this book.
