We love hosting giveaways of every kind, as long as they are targeted to our audience. Our readers have fun participating and you get great exposure to a specific market at little cost. Whether you’re a small business owner, WAHM, Mompreneur, or Fortune 500 company, if you would like to sponsor a giveaway, we would love to hear from you.
Here are the guidelines:
- These are not product reviews (we devote 5 days a week to reviews) they are giveaways only…including free shipping. Let us know where you are willing to ship your item to…USA only? Canada as well? Anywhere?
- We don’t accept any products for ourselves, we simply arrange the giveaway here for others. Some say we’re the ‘middle man’.
- We will relay a brief and succinct description of your product and include links to whatever site(s) you provide.
- We’ll invite readers to leave comments to be entered in your giveaway (no duplicates), and then we’ll draw a random winner from the comments the following Thursday.
- We will notify the winner, and provide them with the contact information to get in touch with you. You can then arrange the details.
- You will be responsible for shipping charges to deliver your product to the winner.
- Retail value of merchandise must be at least $50. (If your product is worth less than $50, you can provide more than one, for multiple winners!) There is NO maximum! The more valuable the product, the more hype it gets. Gift certificates are welcome.
- Please be sure to give us all the information prior to the post. We won’t change it after it’s posted. For instance, if you want to offer a coupon code along with the giveaway, let us know beforehand.
- We receive many requests, so sometimes we have to turn vendors down. Please don’t take this personally. It’s the nature of the gig.
So, to wrap up, here’s what we need from you:
- A brief description of your company and product and any relevant links—including the link to your main site.
- Specifically what you would like to give away. Include the link to the product you’re giving away, if applicable.
- We should be able to pull photos off your site, unless they’re “protected”—if they are, we’ll need you to send us the JPEG for a couple of photos as well.
- Please let us know where you’re willing to ship…US only? US and Canada? US, Canada and UK? Anywhere? (If we don’t hear from you on this, we’ll assume it is U.S. only.)
